THE EVO STORY
Racchiuso nel suo guscio mimetico e fortificato per decenni, si ha l’impressione che abbia atteso un bel po’ prima di fare capolino in società.
Tanto tempo per chi ha avuto intorno, certo; molto meno per lui dal passo lento e morigerato, da sempre. Se così non fosse, il Sub Sea di Zenith non sarebbe “Tortuguito”.
Ma la storia questa volta è diversa, la sagoma grigia e opaca non si è mossa nello spazio bensì tempo, lasciando che il mondo invecchiasse più velocemente di lui. Rimasto fermo lì dove era su quella spiaggia, mese dopo mese, estate dopo estate, sprigiona il silenzio di un’attesa che per altri non è mai esistita.
Enclosed in its camouflaged and fortified shell for decades, it feels as though it waited quite a while before finally peeking out into society.
A long time for those around it, surely; much less for him, since always slow and measured in its pace. If it weren’t, the Zenith Sub Sea wouldn’t be “Tortuguito.”
But this time, the story is different: the matte grey silhouette hasn’t moved through space but through time, letting the world age faster than he did. Left exactly where it was, on that very beach, month after month, summer after summer, it now releases the silence of a wait that, for others, never even existed.
